Houston Area Flat Fenders Group - a group of people in the Houston, Texas area that have come together to share ideas, restore, maintain and preserve  Willy’s Jeeps.

I have a neighbor who has restored a Triumph sports car. It always amazed me the amount of information and contacts he had locally to help assist him in his endeavors with a 45 year old vehicle. After he told me most of information  came through a local club he was part of, I started looking for a club that specialized in the Willy’s jeeps in the Houston Texas Area.  There was none; however I was fortunate to meet up  with a couple of individuals who have the same desires and interest.  With their encouragement we have formed the Houston Area Flat Fenders Group. 

Besides providing a local source to swap stories and find parts for the group, one of the main goals of this website was to provide a resource  for people restoring Willy’s Jeeps not being covered by other websites.   In the future I hope to have a section dedicated to displaying old Jeep sales material and manuals for the many  of the add on accessories.  If you do have one of those hard to fine accessories manuals or sales pieces and would like to share them with the rest of the Willy’s community, please email me and we will post them on the website.
